  Dr Daniel Mann Segal has looked after my elderly father for many years and I have found him to be a very thorough and caring medical professional. His medical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail give you geat confidence in his diagnosis and care. He has aligned himself with excellent specialists doctors whom he refers you too should the need arise. He has a very calm and pleasant demeanour allowing the patient to feel very comfortable. The reception and nursing staff are always very pleasant and professional, I would have no hesitation in recommending both Dr Mann Segal and North Rd Medical practice to any prospective patient.

  Out family has been going here for nearly a decade. The clinic has a good mix of male and and female staff, and are always helpful when trying to accommodate last minute bookings. We always feel looked after here.

  I've been coming here for years now, and find my doctor, the reception staff and the nurse all friendly and helpful. The practice is also very clean and comfortable. Yes, sometimes there's a bit of a wait, but it's because they're not rushing you through like you're just a number; they are quite thorough and caring. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone in need of good, professional medical help. It's also quite useful having a pathology lab on hand as well.

  I found North Road Medical through their covid vaccine program. It's a wonderful service to the local community and thank you for making this available. I just received my 2nd dose today which was provided by a warm & caring nurse - staff were lovely too. The process was seamless and efficient for both doses I received. I am not a regular patient but I will be and I encourage others to consider them for all medical needs based on my experience.

  Wonderful practice. Very caring doctors, have seen 2 and they've both been very thorough and kind. Always busy, do have to wait at times. However it's because they give their patients time, and don't rush through the consultation. If you have a lot of concerns, book a double appointment.

  My son needed a medical certificate for school so I called as soon as the practice opened.
  
  As my son had just turned 17 years of age, I decided to give him some space to talk to the doctor alone, after all, he just required a medical certificate, how badly could it go I thought. I did briefly meet the doctor (I will not name here) and told him I would wait out front if he needed me. Approximately 10-15 minutes had passed and out came my son holding a prescription in his hand. I was a little surprised the doctor did not come out with him, especially since I was still the only client in the waiting room. However, I proceeded to the counter to fix the account.
  
  I was surprised the doctor did not care to discuss the prescription, but relied on my son relaying what the doctor had said, which was it was needed to settle down an itchy throat. I did not think antibiotics did anything for coughs, but I'm not a doctor so I assumed it was necessary.
  
  I was surprised to be charged the full cost of the appointment. However, I made a mental note if I was to return.
  
  As I was leaving I saw a sign above the exit that said "Brighton Bay Pharmacy 60 Metres Diagonally across the road". I was so surprised and happy to learn a pharmacy so close. Being the middle of winter, it was cold, raining and a gale was blowing. Unfortunately as I proceeded to fight the elements to to find the store, I had to stop and enter a coffee shop to ask for directions. I was told I needed only crane my neck to the east and I would surely see a purple sign that would mark the spot! Although highly dubious and demanding the fruit of my loin to fall back (get into the car), I proceeded until finally I arrived. Quite an adventure for a relatively fit person, I pitied the fool, the sick, the wretched that too believed the information found on the humongous red sign above the clinic exit door.
  
  To cut a long story short, unlike the walk to the pharmacy, the total distance was 190m as can be seen by the screenshot below. I don't know why the clinic owners decided to tell such a fib but I did make mention of it to the pharmacist whom advised next time I should stop for a mid sized meal at any one of the many cafes that adorn the road along my journey.
  
  It must be said, it was not me but my wife that noticed the inappropriateness of prescribing an antibiotic to my son without consulting his parent who was in the empty waiting room. It was also my wife whom notices all things financial such as the $80 charge with a small refund from Medicare.
  
  I emailed regarding the antibiotics prescribed. The doctor must have been too busy re-hanging the paintings in the waiting room to reply himself and decided to handball this off to a relatively minor player with a big title something like, "Manager of Operations".The MoO told me on the phone the doctor agrees with me there is an overuse of antibiotics and would only use them if the medical condition was serious and required them. When asked why I was not consulted, the picture hook guy told me 17 is a grey area and he could not breech client confidentiality. How convenient that is! Although the paper work I signed indicated I was in the child's parent, this medical condition did not require my input or consideration.
  
  I feel my son and I were processed like cattle by this clinic.

  Had an appointment about problems with my stomach. I felt like the doctor didn't really listen to me because I had to repeat myself over and over. After 3 appointments and some tests, the doctor confirmed that yes I have issues with my stomach- but no advice on how to fix the problem or why I'm having these issues. He only suggested over the counter medication that I had already tried and said didn't work. Then told me to up the dosage-The chemist said that was really bad advice and not to do it. Such a waste of time and effort! Also he spoke about what he saw in my 1st ultrasound at the reception in front of people!

  Dr Linet Hatherley assistant ( receptionist) said she cannot see me again in ever just because I missed one appointment with her . And her 45 minutes gone waste .
  
  This is really offensive. And she should not do this being a doctor. It’s a shameful for her and her chair and her post too .
